 better than norton by a long way January 1, 2009
I first used to use norton but found that it couldnt find a virus if it was labelled "I am a viris" come and get me. My computer kept on getting viruse and blighting my life. I than heard of kaspersky which was recommenede by alot of people who told me it was really effective in doing what it was programmed to and took less space than norton. Took under 3 mins to install and I was up and running and free from any troubles. I feel that my computer is working more effectively with kaspersky than norton. I recommed that everyone should buy this.
An excellent piece of software December 5, 2008
I've had Kaspersky installed on one PC or the other, for the past couple of years. In that time I've had no problems with it - speed is great, stability great too. The problems I've had with the program have all been dealt with ably by Kaspersky support or, the very useful, Kaspersky forums.
I've also tried NOD32 briefly, about a year ago, when I bought my newest PC, but Kaspersky found some viruses that NOD32 missed, so I went back to Kaspersky.
Plus, the good thing is, if you buy it from Amazon, you can save a tenner over buying it from the Kaspersky web-site. I wish I'd known this when I bought it.
As far as Lazy Cook's problem, read my reply to their comment to see my solution to it (all I did was remove some AVG8 registry entries).

its easy to use i would reconed it to any one but make user you uninstall all other virus promgram frist by going to their own web sites toget the uninstailer

Easily one of the best anti virus programs on the market, fast to update, never misses a virus. I have used kaspersky for years and it has always found virus i have been sent before they have been installed, you really can not go wrong at this price
please ignore Lazy Cooks review as if you will read it you can see they do not even know how to uninstall a program.
 Couldn't get it to work on my pc November 12, 2008

When I tried to set this up it told me I had AVG8 on my hardrive. I went into program files to delete it, emptied my Recycle Bin, and restarted the computer. Then when I tried to install Kaspersky it told me I still had AVG8 on the pc and it wouldn't load for that reason. I phoned a friend who is a computer engineer and he said this was a common problem with Kaspersky. I've sent it back to Amazon for a refund!
