5 out of 5 stars F1 Video   August 6, 2002
This video contains the highlights of the 2001 season. The video contains everything you need to know about the 2001 from the crashes to the pit radio and important interviews with the drives and teams. The videos has great sceens in with onboard cameras clips which gets you right into the action of the season. This video is for the real die hard f1 fan!!! IT A MUST BUY!!
ALL THE OTHER VIDEOS IN THESE SERIES ARE ALSO ACE!!!

5 out of 5 stars Excellent   May 13, 2002
Excellent video with almoast everything you have to see in the season. Only a few overtakings and crashes are missing, but the most important is here. Good sound quality as well with onboard radio communications and music during the summaries. Great job ! Better than the others.

4 out of 5 stars Great racing action, too much scenery   December 20, 2001

As i have wrote above the racing aspect of the video is great the digital pictures that itv viewers don't get to see are the great many on-board cameras and also quite a few extra trackside as well. You also get the car to pit radio, usually given at the end of the race but also when things go wrong best example at Spa-Fisi. This put aside the scenery placed in and the background to the race track area is good but it means there is less time on the video for racing which I really don't have a liking for, this is really tragic when schumi's qualifying at Suzuka isn't included as that has to be the best lap of the year, yes I am a tifosi, that aside it was still the best. Also the extra information the video provides is class and well worth the price, which is reduced by Amazon, which makes it even more worthwhile.
BUY IT NOW!!
PS. Tifosi, if you don't have it already, shame on you, I will treasure Malaysia FERRARI WERE SUPREME!!!!

Well, what can I say? I really was impressed with this video; normally I would say that it wasn't long enough, but this wasn't the case at 3 hours long! Loads of unseen footage, radio transmissions between team & driver etc. are included, and, in my opinion, it is well produced. Thoroughly enojoyed it.

5 out of 5 stars A must see for both harden F1 nuts and motorsport fans   December 17, 2001

Prepare yourself for a bum-numbing of a grand order with the longest F1 review ever. Those people at Duke Video have managed to shoehorn an amazing 215 minutes of F1 2001 highlights into one video. Although the F1 2001 season will surely not go down in motorsport history as being one of the most memorial, with the driver's title decided quite early on in the season, it was still very interesting in many respects. Of course, Michael Schumacher wrote himself a new page in history by breaking Alain Prost's all-time record of 51 wins this season, raising it to 53. In the process, he won just over half of the year's Grand Prix. Also 2001 saw the rise to fame of Juan Pablo Montoya and Kimi Raikkonen and departure of Hakkinen and veteran Jean Alesi. Throw in the return of traction control and the controversial death of a track marshal at the beginning of the season and the F1 2001 becomes quite memorable in its own right.

Okay, we have all seen and followed the excellent coverage of the year on ITV's F1 programmes, but is it worth shelling out... hard earned cash on even more F1 action? Well, the answer to that has to be a resound yes. The previously unseen footage and superb on-board camera action along with driver interviews and strategies via Team Radio makes this F1 2001 review a must see for both harden F1 nuts and those like me who have a passing interest in this branch of motorsport.

Yes, your bum might get rather numb if you watch the video all in one hit, but the time soon passes as you get deeply engrossed in the action. On reflection, one area where the video could have been trimmed down is scene-establishing shots in each country. Although, they very pretty, they do waste two to three minutes, which over 17 rounds adds up to well over 30 minutes. Frankly, I think most people know where Australia, Austria, France and Japan are without these tourist type clips. Less pretty pictures - more hot F1 action please! Apart from this slight minor gripe, which really does not distract from the video itself, F1 2001 Review is highly recommended and an excellent record of the season for fans and collectors of F1.
