Toy Story and A Bug's Life are two of the greatest Disney films. Toy Story is the tale of a cowboy doll, Woody, who is jealous when his owner Andy gets a new toy, a spaceman called Buzz Lightyear. So when Buzz falls into the hands of evil toy killer Sid, Andy's next door neighbour, it is up to Woody to save him or the other toys will never forgive him. A brilliant film, very funny and gripping. The same goes for A Bug's Life, another computer animation by Disney. The heroes of the story are a colony of ants whose livelihood is under threat from some grasshoppers. Can the chief ant, whose name escapes me, save the day? Or will the grasshoppers win in the end? Both these films are gentle and amusing and suitable for all the family. I like them because you can relate to the feelings of the characters, even if they are dolls and ants!
